Bitcoin was an exciting new form of currency, a currency that came into excistence after the huge crash of 2008. A technology that made it intruiguing. Of course if you invested in bitcoin back then, then you was seen as a fool. A person who has no clue about how finances work. As it started to get bigger. You was then seen as a criminal if you invested in bitcoin. Bitcoin would only be good for dodgy activity. That's what the media wanted you to believe. You was never seen as a visionary, a person who could see the potential in this new technology that could change how our lives work. Freedom is the word I would use to describe bitcoin. When bitcoin started to increase in price dramatically, the press then jumped on the bandwagon..Why? Because they're greedy, all they cared about was the price? The people that watched the news, all fell into the same catergory of greed. that's why many of them drowned. Bitcoin was the laughing stock. The truth is bitcoin was never a laughing stock. How could something that has increased over 10,000 in a decade be a laughing stock? This was nothing new for bitcoin. Bitcoin has been through many crashes, and it'll continue to suffer crashes, it's still a new technology. In the end though more and more people will move onto bitcoin, not because of it's potential in making money, but because of the technology. You see the technology is key. IF you believe in bitcoin as a technology, then invest, if you want to make a quick buck, then greed is normally a person's downfall.
I see on here that a lot of people talking about the worth of bitcoin, while before the landscape of bitcoin was more about adoption of the technology.
Even if you invest now in bitcoin, I still believe you're n early investor, because bitcoin still has so much potential. It might not end up as the main coin in years to come, but kids will learn about it in school as the forefather of digital currency.
My advice would be to only invest what you can afford to lose, and don't be greedy, and just enjoy being part of something new.
