I am selling videos for Bitcoin and using a payment gateway that sends me an email shortly after a confirmed payment. The email contains the email address of the buyer that just paid in the message body.
What is the best way for me to automatically do the following:
- Trigger: receiving an email from the BTC payment gateway
- Read / parse the buyer email address from the email body
- Compose and send a new email containing a link to the file to the buyer
Note that I'm ok for the emails to be based on pre-defined templates, as long as I can intermittently update the file templates to change the URLs.
I am interested in options either on the cloud or Android. Preference is also to use gmail if possible, but if not I'd be open to using another email provider. A final option could be to write an application that polls a mail server, but that sounds like a lot of effort and would only run when the desktop app is open so isn't ideal.
